Internal or ‘External’ Stickers?
We sell both but we predominantly sell internal cling stickers for Christmas and other Seasonal promotions. This is because they are quick and easy to fit onto windows, they can be removed and used elsewhere and they leave no marks that need to be cleaned off when you remove. Adversely, ‘external’ stickers can only be used once and can sometimes be a pain to remove (I’m selling these well 🙂 ), imagine removing 100 stuck on stickers from your window? The borders below are printed onto one piece of clear vinyl so it makes removal a lot quicker.
Confusingly, you can use ‘external’ stickers inside or out.
So why would you choose to use ‘external’ stickers?
They are, wait for it, ideal for use outdoors or where you need something a little more permanent to the outside of your windows. Many clients choose to go with externals because they may well have internal structures in place that prevent them from fitting internal cling stickers.
They are ideal to add to promotional vehicles, we print directly onto clear sticky vinyl so they are easier to remove and will look exactly the same as our cling stickers. These are waterproof and are available in a wide range of specialist colours just like our standard clings. The only word of caution with outdoor stickers is that some of metallic colours e.g Chrome and Gold have a limited life when the UV rays start to hit them so plan for 3 months max if you choose these colours. Alternatives include matt gold and silver; these should give you a good 12 months. All other colours will be 3-5 years until the colours start to gradually fade.
